Summer Camps are Back!

Hello Science Families!

We are excited to share that OmniLearn Science will be returning this summer to East Woods School with four weeks each of two exceptional hands-on offerings designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving in our students. Our unique AI and STEAM themed camps will provide unforgettable experiences for your young investigator set against the backdrop of the wonderful East Woods campus.

AI Camp

(Grades 2-8)

OmniLearn’s new AI summer science camps will help students learn and incorporate powerful new technology to supplement their critical thinking and hands-on investigation skills. Students will be immersed in solving varied real-world problems like ecological disasters due to invasive species. Through hands-on labs, outdoor exploration, and collaborative problem-solving, campers investigate taxonomy, adaptations, ecosystem dynamics, and species spread.

At the same time, they’ll learn to use Generative AI tools like Chat GPT to build simple code, analyze large datasets, and create visual models while still keeping with OmniLearn’s signature hands-on learning methods.

By the end of each week, students will present their discoveries, gaining not only a deeper understanding of each problem, but also practical skills in coding, data analysis, and critical thinking— preparing them to tackle real-world scientific mysteries!

STEAM Camp

(Grades K-6)

“Stand on the shoulders of giants” as we incorporate the best practices of scientists, artists, and engineers of the past and present into our activities at camp this summer! The power and wonder of science are palpable with a variety of hands-on experiments, like PCR (polymerase chain reaction), CRISPER (gene editing), gel electrophoresis, oxidation of gummy bears, passive houses, solar powered cars, wind turbines, and meteorology. Recognizing patterns, making connections, seeing things in new ways, using chance, challenging assumptions, and taking risks are the creative behaviors that lead to the discovery of truths and solving problems.

All disciplines of science will be explored: Earth and Space, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering and Technology. Projects are safe, age-appropriate, brain-based and driven by student interest. Children will hone critical thinking skills, expand career awareness, and learn how to work seamlessly with others as well as independently.

We have pond waders, solid fuel rockets, enzymes, plants, chemicals, an amazing staff, and a wonderful campus.

Camp Sessions

Session 1: June 15-18

Session 2: June 22-26

Session 3: August 10-14

Session 4: August 17-21

Location: East Woods School

Time: 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM

Tuition: $875 per session (Session 1 @ $700 due to holiday June 19th)

These camps are a wonderful opportunity for students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
